As we have entered 21st century , the vision of electronic communication encompasses tele- communication, broadcasting, information technology to provide complete ICT solution for our clients. Convergence of core technologies (Communication &  Information) & E-governance can provide web technology based services e.g., Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Customer (B2C), Customer-to-Customer (C2C), Government-to-Government(G2G), Government-to-Citizen (G2C) as envisaged in the Tenth Plan (2002-2007) approach paper of the Planning Commission. With the new IPv6(128-bit IP addressing scheme) the internet connection would be available to everyone & everywhere & will facilitate the convergence of technologies.
